The 2024 department magazine Driving Innovation has arrived, highlighting the breakthrough innovations defining civil and environmental engineering that originate in our department. This year’s focus on innovation showcases impactful research across areas such as invisible mask technology, origami load-bearing modules, and new hope for Wilson’s disease.
In this edition, we’re excited to introduce a new graduate specialization in Hazards, Risks and Resilience (HRR), designed to equip students with expertise in managing natural hazards like hurricanes, earthquakes and wildfires. This specialization provides a comprehensive approach to risk assessment and resilience, addressing today’s emerging challenges.
If you haven’t received a print copy, you can read the full magazine online via this link. Printed editions are also available in the CEE Main Office. A screen reader accessible PDF is made available for download here.
